I finally have enough money to by a ok case ($120). I'm a little picky though, i hate cases with a plastic front bazel. It just looks cheep and kidy. I'm manly lookin at the wave master but i kinda whant sumin different. I like it cuz it looks solid and will built as well as a modern design.(it just frecken looks sweat) Any thing like that(as in not the wave thingy) just well built and not light up vegas style. And ofcourse in my price range. I've been lookin at alot of silver stone cases but way to expensive. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Those CM cases are sweet looking, but there is almost no space between the door and the front of the case for fan controller knobs, removable drive tray handles etc. Always good to keep the practicalities in mind when the looks grab you by the hormones...

I cant find the atc 220 anywhere?(other than sundialmicro), I'm deciding whether to get the praetorian or the atc 220.

umm yea... sundialmicro is the only place you're going to get it... that's where i ordered and they have great service, prompt shipment... no hassle for me :)

btw, it has removable mobo tray with plenty of space in the back. one spare hour and a few cable ties have it set up awesome... i'll post pics of mine tomorrow if u want

Look for the case that has good rear vents like Xoxide, Chenbro, Lian Li, Kingwin and Enlight. Avoid the cheese grater holes,poor airflow unless you dremel it.
You also want airflow from front to back as much as possible, some side intakes near the bottom for video and in some setup ducted right over the CPU.
I like to use the Enlights with the TT Fanless 103 right next to my 80mm exhaust fan. The exhaust fan is plugged into the CPU fan mobo plugin. P4 2.6 800 running at 33 to 40C.

Please tell me how a case that has almost no front air intake can be "best case ever"? Not trying to rag but ballanced airflow front to back is what makes a great case. Not a high bling function after form front bezel.

Please tell me how a case that has almost no front air intake can be "best case ever"? Not trying to rag but ballanced airflow front to back is what makes a great case. Not a high bling function after form front bezel.

Ok, the way I see it, if my CPU runs 40 degrees idle that's enough to power it for as long as I'm gonna be using it... If I slap it in an awesomely cool (temperature wise) case, with an XP-120 bla bla bla and get 28 idle, it's still gonna live the amount of time I need it.

Case in point, there's a reason they come with HSF from the manufacturer. They don't give you a HSF that won't work, and that case is enough to keep it at normal temperatures. Yea, things run hotter than most, but umm, who gives a flying fvck if it works and lasts me til the next upgrade?

I have a lian-li pc-60 which is a beautiful all-aluminum case, solidly-built and excellent cooling. priced around 88-95USD

I was alos looking at the Lian-li V1000 but that may be out of your 120USD pricerange running 200+, though it is definately eye-catching

I really like this Lian-Li PC-7BPlus.

2 120m/m fans, window, 80m/m blow hole (fan not included)...In your price range...Excellent cooling and hey, it is a Lian-Li.

I like too...;) It has an INTAKE and exhausts.

I understand your point and respect your choice. WAY too many people stack their cases needlessly with noisey fans because they think its going to make their system better in some way. My only comment relates to your origional post that states the Coolermaster 210 is "best case ever". If you had said it's your favorate...fine. If you said it keeps your components cool enough...fine. "Best case ever"...no way due to the poor cooling. Sorry to be such a nit picker.:eek:

do you have the pc 7bplus or have you seen one b/c you seem to be recommending this case to everyone... i like it too but worry about its quality...

I have an Antec SLK3700AMB. Looks? It's nice (paint is very glossy). Functionaliy? Unbelievable. For the price (it was cheaper, I got it for $65 shipped), this case is great. The steel construction makes it quiet as do its utilizing 120mm fans. The PSU is good for lower end systems, and can help defray the cost of a new PSU if you sell it. I cut away the stamped grills and the louvers on the front door for more airflow and I put in my own CPU duct. The case is so quiet, it works very well :thumbsup:
