Right now I can get a Antec Soho file server case with a true 430psu for 100 bucks. But ofcourse it isnt aluminum

Is there a difference between aluminum and a regular case. Except for abvious that aluminum is lighter.

Aluminum is supposed to promote a cooler computer- the case is a big 'heatsink' ;)

try to modify your casing.
make an air hole on its side (left side), upperside and downside then put two 7 inch fans. Use rubber to space between fan body and casing, so less noise produced. My computer lower down 7 celcius with this method, and i'm using non alumunium casing.

This is completely untrue. An aluminum case is not an inherently cooler case. Often times aluminum cases have better designs and better cooling setups, therefore cooler overall temps. However, you can't assume that an aluminum case will cool better than a similar steel case.

Steel cases are generally sturdier as well as heavier, and the notion that aluminum cases cool better is a complete snow-job.

The only reasons for buying aluminum over steel are if you like the brushed aluminum look or if you'll be dragging it around a lot. If it's the latter, you really need to look into Micro-ATX systems- the smaller steel cases can weigh less than the larger aluminum models... and they're a lot easier to handle....

Im not going to be carrying my computer anywhere and I really dont care about the aluminum look. So I guess I will go with the new Antec Soho file server case.

Excellent choice. You'll love the case.
