I've been looking at the V2000A (aluminum version of the 1000), which also comes with those 7 orange fans, and the reviews I saw discussing the fans said they were quiet but not very strong, although apparently the number and placement of the fans makes up for the fact that none of them are high-powered, as it is said to be a very cool-running case. Google the case and you'll probably find the same reviews.

hello

http://www.thermaltake.com/products/cases/6000a.htm

this is the case i purchased about a month ago, and i runs great. the case fans are quiet, and i like it. working on it is kind of a hassle, but not 2 bad. almost everything on the inside is easy to remove. (i'm currently in the process of painting it)

if you plan on painting it tho, since it's all aluminum, you have to prime it 4 or 5 times to make it look good. the case is kinda heavy once you get everything in there, so a geargrip is a necessity. there's a firewire cable that runs through the case, and 2 usb ports in the front, both of which i took out cause they were worthless. the temp monitor came with a bad battery, so i had to replace it.

besides that, i haven't had any trouble with it. the case in general is good for cooling, and i like it. after some mods, it looks PiMp. i took the fan that came in the window out, and replaced it with a led light, i put a red cathode light in, above the window. the case allows for many places to tuck your cables in, so their not visable. i wrapped mine, and messed around with placement. it looks pretty good now, i wish i had a pic to show you.

anyways, i like the case, and i hope you have good results with yout decision.

nice...

since it's quiet, i will buy it. The generic case i have now is sooo noisy and not very cool.

I have one too.

It's low noise, depending on fan settings.

But, not silent quiet.

i have this case...i leave the fan speed controller set to medium, its just a bit louder than a new dell. the internal air temp is about 80, mobo temp is around 85, and cpu temp never goes above 95 (all farenheight)
