I made a thread on this before but I can't find it. I'm having a problem with the power button on my case. Whenever I first hit it to turn my pc on it turns on for a few seconds then turns right back off. There this little black stick thing that seems to be sticking for some reason. So I have to take the font panel of the case off to even get the pc to turn on properly now. I have to pull the black level thing outwards or else it'll stay pushed in. It's hard to explain, I wish I could take pictures to show you what I mean but I don't have a digital camera.

I was just using my computer and it'd been on for awhile and it turned off...grrr. Someone suggested before that I go to radio shack? Can you buy case lever things there? I'm not even sure what freaking case it even is...I think it might be an older model antec...

Can you short out the power header to start the computer, and leave the connecting cables off. Just to see IF it is the switch. If it is, squirt a little WD40 if it is stuck, or vegetable oil

You haven't replaced that switch yet? C'mon, man, get to Radio Shack like I suggested a few weeks ago. You're making a mountain out of a molehill. It's not like you're about to replace the motherboard or something. BTW, the "black lever thing" is your switch. The button on the front just pushes it in.

yea but I just do not think radio shack carries anything like that is the problem. I looked over at their website where they have every single one of the products they carry and did not see anything remotely like that. also the guys they have working do not seem to know jack **** about anything either.
