Antec Solution SLK3700-BQE Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 350W Power Supply - Retail

What about this Antec case with PSU? It's only 350 watts, but is that enough? Because it looks like the same black Antec case I was thinking about, but with a PS included...

I've already decided on the neo4 platinum, because that's what most people recommended. And I already bought a SATA 250 GB WD hdd for $150, so it really doesn't get any cheaper than that.

But is the Antec case with the PS good? Is 350 watts enough for my rig?

Yeah, I think I'm going to get that one, but I just need to make sure 350 watts is going to be sufficient...

mines been running with the single fan sl350 near 24/7 since Feb 2k5 with all listed parts 🙂 but I also keep a spare psu around 😉

Awesome, thanks scrap, I think this is the case I'll be going for. I'll just take my chances with the included PSU, but I'm sure it'll be fine.

A quality 350w PSU is far superior to a generic higher rated PSU. I had a 400w powmax PSU, I thought wow, 400w that should be plenty. Then it blew and took my $180 motherboard with it. I replaced it with a 350w enermax, which powered far more than the 400w powmax did. Do not skimp on the power supply if you value your hardware. Rather than just looking at the wattage, the 12v rail is a good indicator as well, and so is the weight, if the PSU is really light weight, or has less than 18a on the 12v rail, you probably want to use a differant one. My 420w thermaltake that I use in my back up rig has 18a on the 12v rail, compared to 26a on the 350w enermax. This is my second thermaltake, as the first one died after only 2 days..

So are you saying that the Antec case with the 350 watt power supply will be good?

Yes, Antec PSU's are good, so the antec case and PSU would be fine.

sonata. , it comes with the trupower series psu which are better then the sl series i bet that 350 is from

Thermltake PSU's are ok, but still not the greatest. I had to RMA my first one, cause it died after only 2 days, but the replacement has being running fine in my backup rig for about 8 months now.
