I didn't get to put the fan grill on it yet or paint it, but that's the dummy pci fancard I made. It's going to get painted chrome soon. 🙂

New ramsinks. 🙂

My idea is under my HDD cooler and above my floppy drive is to take some perfboard and cut out a nice little door that I can then use the plastic-locks to put that over it and keep all my wires behind there, any thoughts?

By the way, here's my "before case cleaning picture" of the HDD cooler:

lol, it's actually not that loud.
I thought the second tornado + 2 more y.s. tech 60mm's would raise the noise considerably, but I really can't even hear much of a difference.

By the way, I figured it out the hard way about the links, I just didn't feel like making links, but thanks for doing it for me. 🙂

I also built one of those slot fans for my videocard. It was cheap, easy and works great. Mine is located in the unused AMR slot of my ABIT VH6T motherboard and is powered by the third fan header.

I know, that'll come in time though. I'm just starting with my cooling.
I'm going to mod the top with 2 60mm exhausts and use the bottom 2 60mm's for intakes, maybe if I can fit it, even use 3 60mm's for the exhausts. 😛

I don't mean to sound like a smart-a$$, but what is your fasination with 60mm fans? Larger fans have the ability to move more air and do it quieter.

Do you see any more spots in my case for 80mm's?
Nope? Neither do I.

I have all my 60mm's used, each 60mm of mine moves 40CFM, that's about as much as your average 80mm case fan, the 80mm's I'm using are 84.1 CFM Tornado's which move way more than your average 80mm, so I'm moving more air than most cases with a few amount of fans.

Once I mod (add a 92mm Tornado to the top back of my case as an exhaust) I'm switching all the 60mm's as intakes so I have the air flow going absolutely great, pci cards getting fresh air through them, 92mm sucking all the hot air out. I might even add an extra 60mm fan to the top front (behind cd-drive), although I'm waiting to mod until I get my cathode, round cables, and window kit.

Get a dremel or jig saw and cut some openings in the side panel for some 80mm or 92mm fans. Or better yet one nice 120mm dumping fresh air in on the CPU/AGP area.
Forget those 60's on the bottom. They're just sucking up dust through those tiny tiny holes. The 60 on the back could probably go to.

lol, that's what fan filters are for. The floor fans are to cool my agp/pci cards further. They work quite well at it, too.
If you'd pay attention, you'd notice that they're currently being used as exhausts, not intakes.

I'm going to mod to add a 92mm Tornado in the top back to put as an exhaust. A negative pressure is desirable, since it will force more air to come in the case and reduce hot-spots. 😉
