Case mod question

Do any of you know a website that sells the side panels for certain cases? Like for example, I have a dell 8100 dimension case. If I wanted to cut it all apart, and I messed it up, would I be able to order another side panel from some website? D:

Dell has their cases made by one of the major case suppliers...I can't remember which one. You'd pay thru the nose trying to get a replacement part thru Dell, that's for sure.

Remember this: Dell PCs are proprietary. I.E. that floppy in that Dell might not be able to be used in an aftermarket case. More importantly, that mobo might ONLY fit THAT case.

|Be advised that if you hack up the case and wind up unhappy w/the results, you may have to either live with it, or build your own PC. *gasp*

Heh, well. Building a pc is the same as building a lego castle now days. I don't see why you have to be all sarcastic. I buy dells because I can rape them with warranties. I have already gotten 2 hard drives 'replaced' 3 mice. 2 of which are sitting right here on 2 of my other dell computers. And I'm currently overclocking my video card to the point it will fry. And with every broken part. dell will 'upgrade' your new one. So I'll be getting a card good enough to play doom3.

Anyways, I didn't ask what you think of a person buying a dell computer. I asked if there was a site that sells case parts like the panels on the side. If' you're going to be all sarcastic and 'smart' why not think about what you're going to say before you say it.

I concur, its nice to see someone have the balls to say what they think around here instead of being all pussified from fear of moderator retaliation.

But, in response to the main question asked, I doubt you are going to find a replacement part for a dell case that wont cost an arm and a leg. Just don't F it up and you'll be fine, modding is easy.
