Case mod question

Ok, i want to add a neon light to my case. My case is black plastic and used to have a metal backing on most of it's plasic parts, no more. I took that off and now i want a bulb to light the inside so you can partially see. To get the best lighting i want to stick the bulb vertically above the cards. there is a row of air vents right where i want to put this bulb, you think it would hurt anything? Nothing is overclocked so i think it would be fine.

oh yeah, by the way, personally i think it will be fine unless your case temps are already pretty hot, but it should be fine.

I don't know if neon bulbs put hot much heat.

If they do, then I'd just make sure you had case fans pulling the heat out of the case...
