I just need a case now. I really dont have money and I don't care if the PSU dies in 1 year also. Are cases under $40 good enough?

Thanks in advance if anyone helps me.

Athenatech A412 Black case is not the greatest in the world but it's decent and internals are decent. Metal is a bit thin but it's not stupid looking. It can be found for around $35ish

You can get a very nice aluminum case from Newegg for $35 shipped. It is the Sky Hawk (IDK why they spaced the words out as that is incorrect, but that's how you have to search for it) MSR-4615.

Then buy a PSU from the FS/T section here or on eBay (tons of 'em begging for bids) to get a better used PSU than the junk in that thing. The danger is NOT that the PSU dies in a year, it's that it takes some of your other gear along with it! I've been using used or refurbed PSUs in my own machine for a long time. I get a LOT better than I could (or would 😉 ) otherwise afford. craigslist.com or postaroo.com are other ways to find a used PSU right near you.

But you pays your money and you takes your chances... 😉

Update: Newegg has Coolmax PSUs on sale w/ only $3. for shipping. They aren't great but are a LOT better than what comes in the cheapie cases. .bh.
