Case Header Extender Cable

Hey all-

not sure if these exist but is there a cable that i could plug into my mobo header plugins(i.e. usb, power led, etc) because the ones that came with my case are too tight to hide behind the mobo.

my case is the antec P280 and the mobo is the asrock z77 extreme 4

I can't seem to find what your looking for. Im 50 percent it exists. Lets see if someone can find this for you. If not,, live with it!!! 🙄

You could always splice your own for the leds but if anyone knows where to buy them I would be interested too
 
Honestly I'd try you local brick and mortar computer store if you have one. They've had to have run into this too. I just splice my own but that requires cutting and soldering wires which you may or may not want to do.
 
Hey Nickel nice Rig. Question. Is that CPU a quad core and does it have HT for 8 threads total ?

That Samsung RAM is sick WOW. I wonder if it can beat AIDA latency benchmark the 47ns is the lowest by a cheap AMD Athlon 64 rig. Test it out let us know. That would be great.

Get AIDA Free and test the latency see if you are #1 , or if Athlon 64 reigns supreme still @ 47ns. thanks gl

Yeah it's a quad core but it doesn't support HT for 8 threads, only 4 (1 for each core) afaik. If you want 8 threads you need to go with the 3770k. The RAM works fine. I really like the low physical profile and in general is getting rave reviews by the enthusiast community. But I probably won't overclock the RAM as the benchmarks don't show much benefit.

But thanks for the compliment 🙂. I have no complaints on the system other than my once cutting edge Velociraptors feeling slow. I really need to just get an SSD and be done with it. I'm just having a hard time letting go of my HDDs as they work and were expensive at the time.
