i'm currently searching for a new setup and debating keeping my old case (lianli pc60). i'm looking to get the following or something similar:

athlon 64 dual core
600w seasonic psu
ALL-IN-WONDER video card
lanparty mobo (or asus mobo, not sure)

i don't think this is likely, but i'd like to double check to make sure before i make my hardware purchases. purchaseing a newer lianli (or other case) won't provide me with many benefits (besides better airflow?) over this (the pc60) case right?

thanks.

PM me when your ready to sell the PC-60 :D

I modded two 92x32 fans at the lower front intake and another at the rear exhaust. I covered the blow-hole from the inside with a thin plate of aluminum. I love my PC-60.

Aluminum is not tough to cut and there is just room enough for the 92s side by side.

sorry to be unclear. the pc60 won't be sold, but given to my family members ;/

im just basically see what benefits (if any) i would obtain by puchasing a newer case.

thanks again.

If you like high-end aluminum cases as much as i do. Take a look at the new offerings from Silverstone. I can't remember the model numbers but they will be out soon. Check their web-page. Look at the top tier Lian Li cases, most have 120mm fans. If i can afford it, my next case will be a PC-75 but the front and lower rear fans will be modded from 80mm to atleast 92mm. Not so much for increased air flow but quiet increased air flow. A 120 might fit at the front intake, idk. The PC-75 can be had for $200 with two optical covers and a floppy cover in black or silver.

Before you jump on the P-180 band wagon. Do a search of the posts about that case on this forum.

Happy hunting as it can be the most fun part.
