Case Fan crapping out or something else?

Just now my case's rear exhaust fan is starting to act up. Its connected to a controller, and basically its stuck on "high" all of a sudden...with intermittent quick stops. Is this a sign that the fan is going to crap out soon, or something else? Thanks.

If a fan acts like that replace it.

It's either the fan, or the controller or the power supply.
My bet is on the controller!
Do you have a multimeter?

NOOOOO!!!! I was afraid that it might be something OTHER than the fan going bad...

I don't have a multimeter, and even if I did I wouldn't know what to do with it hahah. Anyway, the controller also controls one other fan, and that one seems to be working OK...is this a good sign that it might not be the controller? *fingers crossed*

Can you swap the channels on the controller?

If the good fan is now acting up, on the same channel the bad fan was on, and the bad fan is now OK, you know that the problem is with the controller and not the fans.
