Case fan configuration

I currently have one case fan in the front, and one fan in the rear. They are both positioned so that it will suck the air out of the case. I figured they will suck air in from the holes on the side of the case, and this will be sufficient. Should I turn the front fan around so that it will suck air in to the case and the rear one will suck it out?? Is this better for cooling? If so, is there a way to prevent tooo much dust from coming into the case from the front fan??

The best way is usually the front fans as intake and the rear as exhaust.

Yes you want to promote airflow through the case, so I agree with Swanny. Use Motherboard Monitor or some other program to check temps. You should see an improvement.

You can reduce dust by buying or making a little filter for each intake fan.

its actually bad, dust wise, to have both fans blowing out of the case. it creates negative pressure in the case, and then air comes in through all the cracks and crevaces in your case (no case is airtight). you need to have one blowing in, and one blowing out, and to keep the dust out, put a filter over the intake fan. if you really want dust out, make the intake fan more powerful than the exhaust fan, so that there will be positive pressure in your case.
