My CPU/mobo temps run a bit higher than I'd like (49c CPU /41c MOBO during load), because I'm planning to OC. I only have the PSU fan as an exhaust, so I figure the problem is that my case is very stuffy and I'm not getting enough airflow. Unfortunately my case doesn't have another place for a seperate case fan, so I'm unsure of what to do.
option 1) Mod my case. Saw in a blow hole on top or side or the rear, and stick a fan on. - This is possible, but I have no experience chopping up cases and don't even have the tools to do it...
2) buy a new case. I'm feeling cheap since I just recently got my athlonXP. If anyone can recommend some cheap cases?
3) stick in a PCI slot fan. according to this review from mikhailtech, PCI slot fans can lower case temps by up to 5C.
whatdya guys think?
thanks
