I am looking for a case to cool and power my future system. The planned specs are a A64 3000+(zalman cooler)/1GB PC3200/GF6800 and three drives (two hard and one optical).

I dont have much in the way of budget soo I have been looking at antecs and have two choices.

This case has a 350W PSU, however it has 21A on the 12 rail which I heard is needed for an A64.

This one we all know, it has 380W PSU, however it only has 18A on the 12V rail.

Which case is the better choice in your opinion? Thanks.

Don't do that. Get da kine s--t. Go out to dinner a few less times this year. Go to PerformancePC. Get the Lian Li of your choice and then go with PC Power or Global Win. Believe me, you'll be happy you did. Tell Henry you were referred by big ahi...

Isn't it though? Just finished my box with the Lian 6060 Quiet and that Ah--e comes out with the new Lians. Oh well. Wanna freak, check out his sleeved PSUs. I splurged and went with the PC Power 625 with Cobra sleeving. I think we're kindred spirits. Mid level s--t is bunk. Gotta feel good, gotta avoid feeling absolete in 6 months. Gotta go with the best. I'll skimp on something else, like food.

Who needs a case with wheels? I hate that case.

the wheels, who cares about the wheels.. it's COMPLETELY functional and is bar none, despite how people think it looks, one of the best case designs out there. cooling capability is awesome on that case, and functionally it rocks.

I agree with you bigahi, but I can't justify some of that cost.. the PC power and cooling 625 is way too much money, my Vantec ION 400W PSU got amazing reviews, and has a 500W peak power. amazing PSU for the money. ($70USD or so.) but I do think a nice case is a must. I am currently running an Antec SX630II.. nothing special, but a quality, easy to use case. next is an aluminum case.. for sure.

Is the case really that heavy to need wheels? If not I REALLY don't understand how it can be functional. Maybe its just me.

I have both the cases you listed. My preference is the Sonta, very quiet, 4 removable hard drive trays that mount side to side making it very easy to replace hard drives, nice shinny black finish. The design of the drive cages makes it a little easier to route your wiring to keep the inside clean. It keeps my XP 2400 at around 49c under full load.

The solution series has 2 hard drive bays, it's also very quiet but not quite as quiet as the Sonta. The hard drive cage is easily detached and the 5 ¼ inch bays use a screwless mounting system. This cases keeps my other XP 2400 at around 51c underfull load.

Both cases have plenty of room making then easy to work on. Honestly both cases are good deals for the money but I perfer the Sonta for the cleaner looks and the extra drive bays.

I don't have an A64 so I can't comment on the power requirements.
