Case and fan setup advice?

First of all, here's my case My case It uses two exhaust fans, one at the rear and one on top, both blowing out. They are both 80mm YS Tech fans (not sure which ones).

I'm also using a Volcano 7+.

Now, the thing is... when I replace the side panel, my cpu temp jumps from 41*C to 44*C. On the other hand, the noise level jumps considerably with the panel off. Is there anything I can do to keep the same temps (or better yet reduce temps) with the panel on by installing new case fans or by changing their direction or both?

Any help would be greatly appreciated... not just merely appreciated

It is very difficult to lower temps and noise at the same time. Usually you have to choose between the two. May I ask why you are concerned with a CPU temp of 44 C? That is not bad.

The only thing I'm really concerned with is the fact that the temperature increases when I replace the side panel. I was under the impression that a properly enclosed and ventilated system should cool better than one with a missing side panel.

I'm not sure whether to be concerned with a idle temperature of 44*C. I'm rather new to all of this, and it seems that wherever I go, I see different temps. Some people report temps in the mid to high 20's, a lot in the 30's, and even some in the 50's. I'm sure geographic location has a lot to do with these discrepancies, but are there any other explanations.

CPU temps can have a bearing on a lot of things, from case design, hs/fan used, thermal grease used, chip, voltage, motherboard, location of thermistor, etc. Heck, the location of your case in your room can even have a bearing on cpu temp. My case is in a relatively open area right now without a heating vent in sight, but at home I had it parked next to the heat/ac vent! Great in the summer, but not so cool in the winter. 44C is nothing to worry about. I'm pegged at 52-55C running Find-a-drug 24/7.
