Burning a cd, doing a number of other things, the temps are identical from zero load to medium load. @ medium load it's 47c (IC7g so subract a few c I think..)

Very... odd.

I've got a heat pipe that reached out to the rear 120mm vent that's reversed, blowing on the pipe fins. It's actually quite cool, something I've wanted to do for some time but the technology was never there. Gotta get a pic up for those of you interested in such things, I recommend it. My PC is sooo quiet. :p

Sounds like a good cooling setup. If you can, post a pic and a link on where to get that cooling setup. Thanks.

Are you using motherboard monitor 5? Sometimes you only get partial accurate readings. Some are way off.

or the program isn't setup properly or doesn't support his motherboard. its probably just reading from the same sensor.

apparently whatever you are using to monitor temps is confused and useing the same sensor to monitor case and CPU
