Cascading Style Sheet coding help

I am working on coding a website for my Web Design class and i have to break one of the papers up into 3 parts.. I need help with knowing what to put in the <div code so that they will not overlap and look good..if anyone has experience with this please let me know..i can send you the file if you need to look at it..thanks alot

yeah.. but i have a code that the teacher wants us to begin with and then change the values around to make it so it looks good and even

How about you start by posting the provided html/css and what you've tried so far?

Unless you give us something to go on we really can't do anything other than point you to Google.

thanks..i think i got it..its a pretty easy page just to get used to CSS but ill post it when i upload it so you guys can check it out and tell me if it looks ok
