Yeah, he had a few problems too, runaway inflation, didn't he. 😉

It's a little suprising to see a former President with such a strong and negative opinion.
I think he's a bit premature with his opinion, but everyone's entitled to their opinion.
 
That's great...quite possibly the worst President of the 20th Century criticizing G.W. Bush. Don't get me wrong, Carter is a great man but was a lousy President.
 
i dunno... that dude from '29 to '33 was pretty horrid... FDR's programs may not have worked, but he himself was very comforting to people in horrid times.
 
Oh well.. He's not President any more so his opinion does not carry far.

His presidency was awful so why is he criticizing Bush? Carter's a Democrat - they'll always hate Bush - so this really doesn't supprise me.

I think Bush is doing a pretty good job. Carter on the hand sucked at President, he should stick to building homes for the homeless and keep his big yapper shut.

True story:

One of my coworkers got a temp assignment overseas in early 1975, and when he came back in March of '76, he picked up a newspaper and read about &quot;President Jimmy Carter&quot; He literally turned to his friend and said
&quot;Who the hell is he?&quot;

He had literally never heard of the guy! He hadn't been paying much attention to US news while he was gone, but he'd never even heard of Carter before he'd been elected President.
