The Cimarron is a rebadged Cavalier. Probably available under $5k.
The 626 platform was used for the 2-door Mazda MX6, on which the Probe was based. The 626, MX6, and Probe are substantively identical in terms of core mechanical and chassis components. The differences were primarily limited to bodywork and interior trim.

Not only that, they were made on the same assembly line at the same time at the now closed NUMMI factory. Actually, I think one of the electric car start ups bought that factory, and got a steal of a deal for it, too, considering its relative modernity and capabilities.Close. The Vibe is shared with the Toyota Matrix.
Does this count...?

For the longest time Chevy trucks and GMC trucks were just an emblem away from being identical... They still are under the sheet metal but atleast GM decided to change a few other things style wise... Then came Cadillac...![]()
I would think that the Cimarron by Cadillac(it was actually marketed this way and not called the Cadillac Cimarron) can be had for around $500 nowadays.
