I drive a Civic. I want to drive a Civic, because I've realized that spending a lot of money on a car makes no sense when I drive 4 miles each way to work. If money was no object, I'd want a Shelby Cobra

that said, i drive a honda element. the only thing i'd change is trading up for a newer model (mine is a 2003). if money were no object i'd get my jeep project done and drive that.

I just picked up my '08 X5 like 20 days ago. I'm set for at least a decade. I literally need to think of excuses to go out driving everyday.

I drive a 2008 Focus S 5 Spd Coupe
I want another M5
If money was no object I'd build a custom 7 series with pretty wild features/specs. Think James Bond + Veyron Performance in a 7 Series :D

Drive:
1998 Volvo S70 T5 SE
1986 Porsche 951 (aka 944 Turbo)
1976 Porsche 914

Want to drive:
Already have it if cost is a factor.
1994 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 if cost is no factor. Rear-drive, skittish, and likely to kill me. But fun. Oh so much fun.

What I drive now:
'01 Honda Prelude

What I dream to drive in the future:
Nothing really peaks my interest. Though if I had to say, it'd be a RWD platform for sure.

If money were no object:
1985 Pontiac Bonneville (in prestine condition if I can find one) for nostalgic value

I place priority on styling over performance numbers. I chose the Prelude for what it isn't. Bulging. Bloated. Practical. High roof line. High centre of gravity. High seating and viewig arrangements. The design is somewhat old school, yet modern looking for it's time and even today doesn't look dated. Long hooded, low profile, simple interior and exterior, and well defined. It's simply raw in feel and a driver's car at heart. Though it doesn't look like a pig, it does drive like one at times, weight in at ~3000lbs.

The trend, in pretty much all segments, has become bigger, taller, wider, bulging, intrusive, and bloated. Manufacturers are trying to add value and give a sense of safety (bigger vehicles and higher seating and better viewing), with all the technology involved these vehicles have turned into pigs.

I like vehicles that are simple, yet elegant, and seemingly ahead of its time in terms of design. Something that goes against the grain and daring. BTW, door side fenders needs to go, it ruins the lines of a vehicle. It's like putting a black mark on a whiteboard.

ZV, what do you think of the Ruf stuff?

This car is what made me fall in love with Porsche. 211 mph in 1987. Ruf CTR 1 "Yellow Bird".

Ruf makes some outstanding cars and has a wonderful reputation for quality and real-world drivability. But for some reason the 1994 911 Turbo 3.6 is what sticks in my mind. Probably because it is the last of its line.

Drive a 1989 Toyota MR2.

Want the same car, but with more power. Engine swap?

If money was no object--Lotus Elise, Ariel Atom, Ultima GTR, and McClaren F1 are probably the biggest contenders.

I drive an Acura TL-S.

My next car will be a Mercedes E class, or something very similar.

I can't answer the last question, because I haven't researched it and I'm not a car afficionado.

I ride a bicycle and bus.
I want any car that's sporty, reliable and cheap.
If money is no object, I'd buy Veyron.
