Hey, does anybody know about this e-mail forward that has been going around that you get the number 7 and you "say it out loud" over and over again, and then you think of a vegetable, and like 90% of the worlds population supposedly thinks of a carrot? Does anyone know what I am talking about?

this is a classic too:

Think of any number from one to 10.

When you have it, multiply it by 9.

If it's a two-digit number, add them together.

Now, subtract 5 from the number in your head.

Now, think of the letter in the alphabet that corresponds with the number you are thinking about. For instance, if you are thinking of the number "ONE", it would be "A". Number "TWO" would be "B". "THREE" is "C", and so on.

Do you have the letter in your head? Good.

Now, think of a country that starts with the letter you're thinking of. Good. Spell the country in your head.

Fine... think about the second letter in that country's name. Now, quickly think of an animal who's name begins with that letter.

Now, think of the animal's color.

you are thinking about a gray elephant in Denmark!

If it's a two-digit number, add them together. The sum of the two digits of this product will always be 9 (09, 18, 27, 36, etc.)

So you will end up choosing the letter "D" every time. I can only come up with four countries that start with "D",
Denmark
Djibouti
Dominica
Dominican Republic

Denmark is the most common. For E animals the most common again is the elephant (gray). You could have picked a black ostrich from the Dominican Republic, but if so I'd say you're one of the special .00000000001% of the population.

<< Yeah, that makes sense. But, can you figure out the carrot one???? >>

Yeah, it's even easier. It's not the number 7, but 6, that you focus on for several questions. Then when you're asked to think of a vegetable, you're already focused on 6 & try to come up with a name using 6 letters. Carrot is the most common (guess you could choose endive...)
