I could never stand those super sweet alcohol. Makes me teeth hurt just thinking about it.
Friend bought me Disarinno (sp?). I almost puked at first sip.

Now the question: What other brands should I try?

I'm a fan of hot cocoa. I don't usually like sweet alcohol, but Carolan's and hot chocolate are an awesome winter combination.
Also, I'd be a little careful about the "it keeps for two years" bit. It'll keep that long if unopened, but I've had an opened bottle taste very bad after six months.
Carolan's is great because it is very tasty, and, as mentioned significantly cheaper than Bailey's. Less name recognition I suppose, but it is all I buy when I need to charge up my coffee.
I would have thought you'd make your own Kaluah. It's supposed to be easy. A friend of mine's mother used to do it. I think it took a month though.ice cream?
use it to replace cream in various cream sauce recipes for added win?
I forget the name, but there are a few coffee-liquors out there that are far cheaper than Kaluah that I prefer. Many of them are way too sweet, though.
The local Sam's Club has one... can't remember the name off hand, but it is pretty decent.
Went there today. It is called O'Doud's.
Thanks I was looking online for that
