Hunting down every pedestrian in a level for that type of win took a long time. They hid the pedestrians in some imaginative places...

And soundtrack by Fear Factory? What more could you ask for?

Carmageddon 🙁 I remember my little brother and I fought to the death to determine who could play ! Obviously I won ... Good thing he only ended up in a head trauma induced coma and is alive and kicking right now ! 😛

But really, that game rocked. A remake isn't going to fly in 99% of the country's, I mean, driving people to death, inpossible, extra points for combo's and groups of people ? Unthinkable !

I don't know about that. If Rockstar can pull off the games that they do and still turn an incredible profit then I think someone can manage to remake Carmageddon while still maintaining its touch. You just need to push the envelope as much as possible which Rockstar are masters at doing. Not that I think it will actually happen. 🙁

yeah, that's R ratings are for!!

No, that's what RC ratings are for, or, Refused Classification. That's how they roll in Australia. They just did that to F.E.A.R.2: Project Origin, and that game isn't even that bad.

I think it is clear that a quality remake of this game is just a gold mine waiting to be claimed. Is there any legal reason why no one can do it? It cannot be the case of no one having thought it or not having enough balls to take on the project. What is the real reason?

I loved it and Postal also, but I think these are concepts just asking for legal issues if they were remade today.

Sad truth.
