So I'm out in San Diego for a user conference and I was starving since I spent the whole day traveling from New York. Looking for something quick and tasty. Carl's Jr., oh yeah, giggity. This place has the best fast food burgers I've ever eaten. Mom pop's told me about it when they came out to California a couple years ago and when I was out here for srping break with the girlfriend I got hooked. We really need to get these in New York. You Californians dont know how lucky you are!

I agree, Connecticut sucks. You figure living in Stamford, the middle of hedge fund country, there'd be something to do on a friday..

In-N-Out>Carl's Jr. every time.

In-N-Out is the best fast food chain west of the Rockies, IMHO.

Edit: Not to say Carl's is bad. I'd actually choose Carl's over just about anything but In-N-Out. :D

Another vote for In-N-Out, but I guess I do take for granted the quality of the "$6" burgers at Carl's.

I used to work At Hardee's aka Carl Jr's.

I made biscuits at 4 in the morning.

Anyway the chain around here has gone downhill with a lot of health violations, and a closing a town over.

I got food poisoning there.

dont happen to know the recipe off the top of your head do you? i can make some fine biscuits but im missing something those have got for flavor

it could be a massive amount of salt but im not certain

Sounds like I gotta find me an In 'n' Out. So Hardees is the exact same thing as Carl's Junior? Good to know. Closest Hardees to my location is like 75 miles though.

I went to this place for about two weeks straight last year. Pretty damn good place.

Hardees fries aren't that great and their soda usually isn't mixed too well, but their burgers are damn delicious.

There is a carls jr. within 1 mile of my house. and several more within 5 miles. Strangely, I almost never/hardly ever go there. At the same time, there are 2-3 Inn n outs around me as well, and I've eaten at the restaurant probably only around 5 times in my entire life.

I eat McDonalds and Taco Bell a lot though. McDonalds especially. Yes, I guess I'm weird. But McD's fries and chicken nuggets really do it for me.:thumbsup:

McDonald's is still the best for a simple, fast meal when you just want some fries and nuggets or a cheeseburger. If they offered a bacon cheeseburger (they don't around here), it would probably be better than Burger King or Wendys. People just don't like it because it's "cool" to hate McD's.

I probably won't be eating at Taco Bell again for a while. I ate there yesterday and ended up being an hour late to work this morning because of it.

Carl's Jr... not excellent.. but better than burger king or mcdonalds.

gotta love their Jalapeno Burgers..
near my school, they have 20% off for students.. and free wireless for customers.. love it

Fuddruckers is my burger poison or a place that I've only eaten at in the central us called Backyard Burger

Carl's Jr. is probably my favorite MAJOR fast food burger stop though, and I can't really stand In N Out.

For pizza, it'd have to be Hungry Howie's!

No I don't like it because it is disgusting. I have gone there more than a few times but I'm sorry they don't come close to Wendy's (except for their fries are better at McDonalds) when it comes to salads, chicken sandwiches, or burgers... and jr bacon cheeseburger FTW. BK blows em away too with their angus burgers or even the more basic burgers, much much better then McDonalds broiled > fried ANY day.

I tried the chicken sandwich at McDonalds a few weeks ago, BAH not good IMO.
