I should get it in 6 weeks.

I tried look it up on wikipedia, but no luck. Google was confusing.

Is it a sedan, a coupe, how much horsepower, etc?

Look at http://www.bmwusa.com
The 335i comes in coupe, convertible, or sedan form and has the same 300HP TT I6 as the 135i it's just about 9 inches longer. The 135i comes in coupe or convertible only.

It's an 09 335i 4 door sedan (E90) with sport package in manual. Exterior is Space Gray, interior is black. Like Mutilator said it has 300 HP and foot/lbs torque. I've had no luck finding a stick anywhere. I actually wanted an 08 G35 6MT Sport sedan since I was quite happy with my leased 05 G35 6MT Sport sedan but after months of looking could not get one. The G37 6MT Sport sedan does not come out until next March according to the sales people at Infiniti.

When you say stick you mean, "stick shift," as in there's no clutch? But you said it has a sport package manual.

I'm confused.

Yeah, that sounds really cool. Stick shift makes everything better, imo.

Do they still make you order the winter package on the sedan to get reclingning rear seats? I thought it was kind of silly since its standart on the coupe. The heated seats are sure nice thought.

Hmm...I don't know about the reclining back seats. The Cold Weather package gives you heated seats and steering wheel, fold down rear seats and headlight washers. It's an $1150 option which I didn't think was worth it. The heated seats are nice. The options for the Premium package were kind of weird. I like the leather, compass, bluetooth and autodimming mirrors but I don't need the garage door opener since I don't have a garage door. My G35 had most of those two packages as part of the Premium package though. The one thing big thing that they changed was the Logic7 stereo. That used to be part of the premium package but its a completely separate option now. That was one of the option beside sport package I took.

If the "garage door opener" is actually Homelink, it will do all sorts of things besides open a garage door.

Wow...prices sure went upsince 2007. I got the winter pacage for 450 (may be because of ED) and Logic 7 was standard on 335i. Its a great sound system, very clear sound and 2 subs under the seats.

I'd rather have the Beemer. The 300HP is incorrect, though - someone dyno'd a 335i and found that it produced close to 330. It's also supposed to have a very nice torque curve, and unlike an M3, you don't have stupid badges and vents all over it. (You also don't have a limited-slip diff, but then again, how often will you be on a racetrack so you'd need one?)

I've always thought about doing something like this. Got pics?

Bimmer is about $10K more compared to the 08 G35 after discounts. The 09 G37 isn't being heavily discounted like the G35 but has 2.9% financing. BMW is discounting heavily, even their 09s and giving 0.9% financing. I calculated not too much of a difference, maybe $1000-$2000, between the Infiniti and BMW. The Infiniti is better equipped than my BMW though.

I didn't know about the 330HP! Don't tell my insurance company :D

You have to be weary of dyno numbers on a turbocharged car! You need to see whether or not the SAE correction has been applied. For a turbocharged car, SAE correction should be OFF -- having it on will produce much higher (and unrealistic) numbers.
