See my avatar.I was just watching a live youtube broadcast by Carey Holzman and he was swatted. 10 police cars showed up and they searched his house then you could hear a helicopter. It was crazy. All during this time he was on a live microphone doing the broadcast.
This guy just can't seem to see past his own view.
The cops do not know what is going on. And they can't just take a stranger's word that nothing is going on or that it's all a prank.
He just can't seem to understand that and blames the cops for doing their jobs.[/QUOTE
He was in the middle of doing a live stream of a computer that he purchased with his own money to upgrade it with better parts that he purchased with his own money to give away to one of his viewers that couldn't afford a nice computer when he was swatted. Let that sink in. So go on about how Carey behaved inappropriately when he was treated like a murderer. And hope to God you're never put in that situation.

New account, first p&n post.
Yeah seems legit.
He's my brother and someone just attempted to have him killed. So yeah it is my first post and yeah it's legit.
None of that changes the situation at all. He's mad at the cops who cannot possibly have any idea what is going on and cannot logically just take the word of a stranger at the scene they have been called to.
He's mad at the wrong people and it's illogical. He's abusing the wrong people for just doing their jobs.
I understand he's upset. But he's not being rational continuing to blame the cops even after they have left.

I dunno but good question.
pburk why do people not like your brother
I'm going to just step aside the current argument and propose that this type of swatting should be chargeable as attempted murder.
Edit: This behavior has absolutely no room in society.
Your outrage should be at the people who directed the police there and attempted to have him killed and not for a person just standing up for his rights. He didn't scream or yell or cuss at them. Why aren't you outraged at the people who swatted? I am so sick of victim blaming. It's gross.
I don't know what he could have possibly done to anyone to deserve that; Furthermore, myself and my children are over at his house frequently during filming and we could have been hurt or killed as well.
My brother was in the middle of a build for a person that he was giving away for free because that person couldn't afford a decent computer and this is the 2nd computer that he had given away in 2 weeks (the first one went to a disabled vet) that's the kind of person my brother is. I think the action that the swatter took says more about them than it does about my brother and it makes me lose almost all hope for the decency of humanity that a handful of people on the internet are more critical of the victims actions than they are of an attacker. I think that anyone who feels less than outraged over the assailant and who wants to find fault in the victim, should be ashamed of themselves.
So the question is what did my children do to deserve to become this person's victim? Because if they do it again and we are there, that is the reality of the situation isn't it.
Excuse me, who said I'm not outraged at the people who called it in?
Not me.
But what's curious here is your brother isn't either. He's raging FAR MORE at the fucking cops rather than the people who called it in. And that's my fucking point.
So when you get over being emotional realize you're asking ME the fucking question I'm asking HIM.
Fuck fuck, fuckity fuck.Raging? You just cussed at me more times than he cussed at the cops. How many times did he use swear words at the cops? Let me help you with that. It was two times less than you just cussed at me over a stupid forum post. But yeah I am sure if you were in the same situation you would handle it better because clearly you've proven yourself to be a calmer person.
Edit: Sorry 3 times. You swore at me 3 times in that last post. Classy.
