I've been listening to the Seether cover for a couple of months now, and got to see them perform it in concert back in February. I love it.
 
Don't think it can be done as a rock song...the lyrics are too jazzy (never going to dance again, guilty feet have got no rythm, etc.)
 
Never heard of Seether.

Awesome job on this cover tho, and I really like their sound and the sound of the lead vocals a lot.
