hi i think i can help here as i was in the same boat as you.

a couple years back i was going to purdue university and really despised school, so i dropped out and got a good paying job (50k) that I love. Even though it has only been a couple years i already regret my decision of not sticking it out through college.

Even though i have a job i really like, i'm stuck. It would be really hard for me to find another job doing what I do, or finding any other job with comparable pay. So, I'm trying to fix those regrets by taking online courses full time while working.

My advice to you would be to stick with it. I had many people give me this very advice and i ignored it, but trust me....stick with it.....

Welder's make decent money but nothing special.

Plumber's can make serious money, so can Heating and Cooling.

Wages for trades can be all over the board depending on skills required and the demand for that trade.

I know some trades people making 6 figures.
