I dont know about you, but I love dreaming of cards that COULD BE, specifications for video cards that I just WISH ATi/nVidia would come out with. Most of the time I'm realistic with it, but I love imagining the impossible (48pp/32vs, 1120/4800 card anyone?). This is the topic to share the cards that you wish ATi or nVidia would come out with, keep it realistic. State the specifications of the card and the MSRP, and preferrably some "benchmarks"(such as MunkyMark06).

My three cards (which actually could happen, at least one of them):

ATi X1900XL
MSRP: $379
Pixel Pipelines: 16
Pixel Shading Processors: 48
Vertex Shaders: 8
Core Frequency: 550 MHz
Memory Amount: 256MB
Memory Frequency: 600/1200 MHz Effective
Memory Interface: 256-Bit
Memory Type: GDDR3

ATi X1700XT
MSRP: $199
Pixel Pipelines: 4
Pixel Shading Processors: 12
Vertex Shaders: 5
Core Frequency: 675 MHz
Memory Amount: 256MB
Memory Frequency: 745/1490 MHz Effective
Memory Interface: 256-Bit
Memory Type: GDDR3
Interface: PCI-Express

ATi X1700 PRO
MSRP: $149
Pixel Pipelines: 4
Pixel Shading Processors: 12
Vertex Shaders: 5
Core Frequency: 525 MHz
Memory Amount: 256MB
Memory Frequency: 475/950 MHz Effective
Memory Interface: 256-Bit
Memory Type: GDDR3
Interface: PCI-Express

"Benchmarks"
MunkMark06 (original, very close to real performance of F.E.A.R., 1280x960, Max w/o

I wish both vendors would make reference passively cooled cards rather than relying on OEMs to invest time and money designing them.

I wish ATI would release Xenos as a PC GPU.

If I had the specs I would MunkyMark© it.

MunkyMark© doesn't take the 10mb GPU cache into account though.

how about a card that would lasts me forever

a card that has enough raw power to last me through lifetime without ever dropping below 60fps in games
