Card Repair

Hello all,
I just recently moved to the States. Unfortunately, my HD 4870 didn't survive the journey and now my PC refuses to POST. I get either 4 beeps (graphics error) or nothing at all. Can the card be repaired or should I just get a new one? The warranty is no longer valid

R u sure about the warranty?
Many manufacturers give at least 3year warranty with the card. Also, open up the computer and make sure that the card is fully plugged in (including the 6pin PSU connector(s))
Also, re-seat the card.

I'm sure about the warranty - I called Gigabyte and found out that the warranty is only valid in the country of purchase.
And I re-seated the card several times, and tested it in a friend's PC as well.
