I've been looking for a good TV tuner for my desktop. I decided that the Asus EHD3-100 was a pretty good value since it includes an FM tuner and, from what people say, a very nice remote control.
But then I popped open my case to make sure it would fit. Without going into too much detail about the motherboard layout, I currently have two PCI-E 1x slots open. The first slot is basically useless because the giant northbridge heatsink is right behind it. The second one is almost, but not quite, covered up by the Accelero S2 on my 4830. If I stuck the Asus in there, it would be directly against the S2's heatsink.
I guess I'm a little worried that partially covering up the S2 with the Asus would be a bad idea, especially when I play games. Would I be better off going with something external?
