My Radeon 64Mb DDR ViVo video card is slated for arrival today ;-) I remember reading somewhere that one needs to remove the drivers for my current video card... TNT2 32Mb Diamond Multimedia... physically remove the card, and put the new one in. Is this correct? Is there any problems anyone has heard of from doing this? I would seriously like to avoid a format, as I just reloaded everything on there these past two days.

Thanks!

Yes, remove all drivers from your current video card, and set your display to SVGA. Then, install the new video card, and its corresponding drivers and any overclocking utility if you wish :)

Go to control panel, system, Device manager, than where your TNT2 drivers are, double click it, open it to the driver section, click update driver. Once there, choose the Standard SVGA drivers. THen remove the card. If tehre's a choice in the add/remove section, also do that, it'llr emove the other files.
