Almost reads like a parody. Bontrager, I presume being the same company that makes bike tires and other items, has made a carbon fiber clavicle replacement and their first public patient has been Lance after his crash. I guess he's up and riding now, so he'll be doing the Tour de France as planned.

I wonder how much lighter a carbon replacement is than an original bone. Then we know he's only got one testicle, it adds a minute bonus to his climbing weight!

Developed with the aid of Sports Medicine Specialist Dr. Mark Timmerman, a Bontrager consultant, the inForm CarbonClavicle has greater shock absorption, greater impact strength, and a greater tensile strength?all while being grams lighter than the OEM bone.
OEM bone LMFAO!

OK if I'd read OEM bone perhaps I would have known. I admit I thought it was strange how they were happy at his crash, seemed an iffy thing to say. 😱
