The wife broke the car today coming home from work. It seems like the car idles fine but when you go to put it in drive or reverse it wants to stall out. Based on this limited info, what could the problem be.

i agree. i own one. it doesn't like to idle either.
 
Vacuum leak?

Open hood with car runnign and check for leaks... probable sound slike...

"fffzzzffffzzzz ford... sucks..... fffzfffffzzzz..."
