Car troubles.

The wife broke the car today coming home from work. It seems like the car idles fine but when you go to put it in drive or reverse it wants to stall out. Based on this limited info, what could the problem be.

Vacuum leak?

Open hood with car runnign and check for leaks... probable sound slike...

"fffzzzffffzzzz ford... sucks..... fffzfffffzzzz..."

Thanks, I was on page 5 of that forum for taurus, when you posted that. That sure sounds like what I'm experiencing. Too bad the OP didn't follow up with what fixed it.
