was this an april fool's joke? How is this fake?

How is this fake? I understand that the energy requires to convert the water is probably a lot, but if you use clean electricity like hydrogen solar cells and wind power, you could make a Hydrogen station from this.

BTW of course it takes electricity to make the gas, it takes electricity and man power to refine and make natural gas, but efficiency wasn't good enough to use it before. Now it looks like the process is more refined now, so it is more efficient. Sooner or later science catches up to these ideas, and they become viable technologies.
