the g35 sedan is kinda plain. why does it have to be new? 4 doors really needed? with 35k i would get a 350z or a used escalade

A used Escalade? Is gas only $1/gallon where you live? Out here it's $3.40/gallon.

Isn't the Camry Hybrid a weak 4 cyl piece of crap?

Personally, I'd go for the BMW 330i, or maybe the 325i if you want to add lots of options and still keep it around $35,000.

There's no way you'll get a 330i for under $35 grand. The base msrp is 36.5, and you won't find a base car anywhere. A 3-series for under 35k will usually be either a well-optioned 325i or 325xi.

if you can afford a 35 thousand dollar car, gas prices really aren't gonna affect you that much. its all in our heads, unless you drive A LOT. and the OP asked for a sporty 4 door sedan. you can see he doesn't want a honda...

Heres my opinion:

-G35-engine feels weak(no drama, just boring acceleration), bland looks, eveyone has one

-3 series-newer ones are just ugly

+A4-my personal choice(great looks, great interior, decent engines, nobody has one)

+Subaru Legacy GT-if this were a bit cheaper, definately the car I would buy based on looks

-Mazda 6-stylings too immature

+Dodge Charger-the car to get if you want presence(in black of course)

+Saab 9-3- very handsome car but has a small interior

+Volvo S70-awesome seats, neat engine sounds, iffy styling

-VW Passat-overpriced for what you get...for some reason I think the Euro versions look better..

Have you given a thought into buying a car that you like and not what people tell you to get or should get?

I know when I buy a car I dont go to my friends or strangers and ask "I have $35K what car would you like to see me in so I can be your friend or keep you as one". I buy a car because I like it and fvck anyone who doesnt. They dont have to drive it 😛

For that I would take your $35K and buy a used car, nice bike, motorcycle, jet ski, and a boat for the win. Doesnt matter what ones just as long as you like them and you can have fun owning more fun toys then one expensive one everyone wants you to buy so they will like you.

I don't understand why people come on this forum saying, "I want a new car at this price range." Type in the names of all the brands your interested in into google, go to their websites, look at cars that interest you, click on "find dealer," and TAKE A DAMN TEST DRIVE! Buy the one that you like. Simple.

no one has A4's? are you kidding me. there were more of those than anything else in my high school parking lot

I can understand when people say they don't like the style of the new 5 series compared to the last generation. The new 3 series I guess I can understand. But saying that an A4 has 'great looks' and that a new 3-series is 'ugly' - I don't understand.

Audi is the poster-boy for bland, boring, ugly cars... 😉

Please tell me that you're not some early 20's guy straight out of college who just got a new job, and is now blowing your money on things you can't really afford.

The 3 series take the list hands down. But prepare to pay over $35k for stuff that is pretty much standard on Acura.

Are we talking about automatic here? If we are, buy a effin Corolla. There no such thing as automatic "sport" sedan.

here's the challenge: no TSX, TL.

So far the list is:

1. Infinit G35
2. BMW 3 series
3. VW Passat

Any suggestions welcome.

lol, TL was the first car I would have suggested.

Mazda RX-8 and use the rest of the money for gas and something else 😛

I think you should get an Evo or a WRX...test drive and see them for yourself 😉
