Alright, I am a newbie in Car stereo industry.

I am looking for a CD player(no cd changer). Do you guys know there is any CD player which is cool and has a audio infront or at the back of the CD player deck? I am going to use my laptop for mp3.

I do not mind using another equalizer too if its really boost the music performance....

I just need recomendation.

feel free to send me an email at kelvin1704@icqmail.com

Man, don't use an AUX input to play Mp3's from your Laptop, the quality would be pretty bad. Why not just get a nice MP3 CD player? There are several out these days and they are at a decent price.

I would recommend looking into the JVC MP3 unit, it seems to be the most liked. A lot of companies have them now, just don't buy the Aiwa CDC-mp3 or the CDC-Mp3 2 deck, they are very bad. Also, I have heard good things about the Kenwood decks as well.

My alpine (sorry I don't remember the model number) has auxillary inputs. I use it to hook up either my ipaq or minidisc player if i have it with me. It works pretty good, I ran some rca's down to where my cassette deck used to be in the center lower console ( a blazer) and now i just hook them up when I need them.

i agree with big shooter..

i do use it before with audio input, its work flawlessly from my laptop...

the reasons that i want it to be infron of my cdplayer or back, is for easy access for cabling
