Is there any car stereo that is AM/FM/CD and also plays music from a SD or other media card or flash drive? Thanks

Most likely overkill based on what you're stating but most of the double-din Pioneer nav units have an SD slot for playing music. My AVIC F700 does.

Yeah, this is a pretty common thing these days, though flash drive is overcoming SD/CF in popularity. If USB flash drive is good enough, you should have no trouble; if SD is a requirement, it will probably narrow the options.

As LTC8K6 said...go to Crutchfield.com. Really the best resource...if you aren't finding what you need on the website, their customer service is top notch and will get you exactly what you need...just give them a call.

OK. Been checking out Bestbuy since they will also install and didn't find what I wanted. Forgot about Crutchfield. Its a 200 Tacoma 4 dr.

i have a kenwood KDC-X993. thing is a beast and plays music straight off my USB thumb drive, or an ipod. also check out the pioneer elite DEH-710BT.

I believe all the major manufacturers now offer some kind of flash drive support on at least one model, I'd be surprised if you couldn't find a unit at Wal-Mart with a USB port.

A buddy installed a BOSS stereo with DVD and SD Flash, it looked cheap to me and the touch screen seemed like more of a distraction than traditional controls, it worked okay and sounded pretty good though. He got it for like $120 on evilBay.

I like the idea of using a SD flash card so nothing will be sticking out of the console. Been looking around and still can't find exactly what I want.
