This guy was in the advertising business. This site is one of his ventures. It's been around for quite a few years. It gets updated every Wednesday.

He's a straight shooter and calls 'em like he sees 'em which I find pretty refreshing.

I thought some of the people that hang here might enjoy it. I have absolutely no affiliation with this site. I post it only for entertainment and information value.

Great read, thanks. Site layout/font makes it a little tougher on the eyes but it's worth it.

I like refreshing auto commentary, but frankly it has to in a convenient, easy to access/read format with good resources. This site is a little too hodge-podge for my tastes.

He has no RSS feed - automatic drop from me for that alone. I live through RSS.

Also, in addition to his pointed commentary he seems to include regurgitated content from press releases and what not. This is okay, but the formatting makes it painful to sort through and I wouldn't be at his site as the sole source of automotive news - so instead, he should link to the other news sources with all the details and just leave his opinion on the site.

Is that a pretty unbiased site? I find most auto sites on the web are biased with Euro-snob complexes, that call a Chrysler mini-van crap because it has push rods and doesn't handle like a McLaren F1, and generally automatically hate on anything American just because it's American.

His rant every week is about a different subject. The site gets updated every Wednesday as I wrote earlier. I don't see him as a fanboy for any one particular make. He gives a thumbs up when he feels it's warranted and a thumbs down the same.

This weeks issue has a lot devoted to the SEMA show. That's not the norm. There's always racing related coverage. He's fond of good looking women and sometimes there's a lot of coverage of auto show babes. I just can't fault him for that.

The site may be of more interest to those of us working in the auto industry and perhaps for those of us who live in SE Michigan than other folks. I don't really know.

He's not earning a living off the site which is why it is the way it is.

What sites do that? I watch AutoBlog and need to turn an eye back to Winding Road. LeftLaneNews is okay too. Can't say I've seen the kind of bias you're talking about
