My car was scrached today. Some painting ripped off along the scraching line. How much does it cost for body shop to repair this? And how much if repairing by my own?
Can't really tell how bad it is from that photo, but it looks like it would buff out with polishing compound.
You can try it yourself on a small section and if it works, then do the rest. Follow the directions on the
compound, use enough water and a very soft cloth or a buffing wheel.
If the paint is scratched, as you stated, no polishing compound is going to help. The entire door has to be repainted; or quoting Kelvrick, if scratched only down to the primer, if you can live with it, leave it.

I had some scratches removed from a car. Usually it depends on the color and the extent of the scratches to determine how much the car would need to be repainted. Since the OP's door is white, he might be able to get away with just repainting most of the door. Repainting more than just the scratch is necessary since you need to blend in the newly applied paint.
I would recommend that the OP check Craigslist under 'services' for any re-paint/scratch removal services.
