We moved him right into a handicapped space. We came out of the bar about 2 hours later his car was still there with a parking ticket on it.

My girlfriend tells this story about her encounter with people and their total lack of care for other people's property.

She, in her 2 year old Volvo S60 (2.4?T) pulled into her college parking lot. She was trying to be careful about who she parked next to since she too doesn't like door dings. She found a brand new honda accord, and figured the owner of that car would too be careful about not opening his/her door into another car. So she parked there, and since she had some time before class she opened up a book and started reading. Well the owner of the car came out, and apparently was upset that my girlfriend had parked next to her car, and swung the door into the passenger side of the Volvo. My girlfriend rolls down her window and asks what the problem is. The lady responds "I was here first, do you want to fight over it?" My girlfriend at the time was probably about 19 and the woman was in her 30s.

I hate people.

I had pretty serious leg surgery to repair damage from a motorcycle accident earlier this year and had and occasionally used a handicapped parking permit. I was on crutches and only used it when the option was the handicapped spot or not going at all (I had limited range before I had to stop and rest as I was still recovering from a shoulder injury as well.) At the local coffee shop in the morning there were always people too busy to park the 50 yards away and had to park "just for a minute" in the single disabled parking spot. I got in the habit of just parking behind them blocking them in. Usually they were too embarrassed to say anything and just waited, but every once in a while someone would get pissed. Without fail offering to call the police to mediate it shut them up.

I always wanted to trash a car that stole my assigned parking spot in college. I almost did till I found it was my roommates friend. Catastrophe avoided!!!

I was going to post the same gag about my cousin's car at his wedding
I had it set up so he and his bride got in, car would not move, he gives me the look of "WTF did you do to my car you will die!!" and I casually tipped it off the blocks with my knee on the bumper:laugh:
It took a few tries to get the blocks set up just right so they could not knock it off getting in the car, but I could easily tip it off.
