In regards to turning your car into a manual it will be prohibitively expensive. Don't bother.

Beautiful.

What's the point of downshifting fully (D-3-2...), BTW? Does it help braking? Is this meant to relieve braking ?

Can help with braking, or for passing dropping it down to 2nd or 3rd is a good quick boost.

I don't know any Z owner who would call their car a Z350.
That would be like calling the previous one a ZX300

Someone with an automatic[/]b can call it what he wants... because it's not a real sports car anyway.

Sometimes when I stop at a light, I'll put my Accord in neutral, and roll back a lil' JUST LIKE ITS A MANUAL!!!

Then I'll put it in D1, and GUN it when the light turns green!
Let it rev to about 6500 or so, then BAM! Shift into D2! Then rev till about 6k or so, BAM! D3!!! Then I can laugh at everyone eating my dust!!! Finally I put it into D4 and just cruze....:p

(I hope everyone's sarcasm meters are working!)
