Car Prototype Sighting!!!!

Was coming back from South Coast on the 405s in Southern California when my friend (in his RSX-S...white) and I saw a covered car. Obviously its a prototype of some sort. So we followed it off the freeway and on surface streets for a little while. I snagged a few shots of it. It looks like an Altima but maybe a little smaller....just slightly. The reason why we think its a Nissan is because the car behind the prototype had a walkie talkie, talked into the walkie talkie when he saw me snapping shots of the car, tailed the prototype the entire time we did, and was chuckling at how we were chasing the both of them.

It was pretty fun, chasing the car and stuff. I'm gonna get the pics off my phone when i get back home later tonight.

I think its a Mazda. The tail-lights and the shape of the front fender area gives me that impression.

really, even though the car that was tailing it (with a relayed walkie talkie)...was a Nissan?

yes but high back shows signs of a nissan.. this car doesnt look as if its a prototype, but a tricked out car for a present maybe...or a unveiling for a celeb that paid a garage to customize it to the fullest... i mean c'mon look at the rims and the paint job.. thats nothing a factory would do..its a custom job.. nothing special...

in that case, I would agree, cuz Prototype will not use rims like those.

first off, i think its a nissan b/c the car following it with a walkie talkie was a nissan. I think its a prototype b/c thats what they do with prototypes. cover them up so people cant see the details of the design. the car manufacture wants to get some specs on the car without the public knowing about it

mentat you do have somewhat of a point but anyone could drive a nissan... hell i drive a nissan 😛 fact is yes factories do cover up their cars like this but also why in the world would it have a paint job that looks like its a big checkers board.. or some racing rims like those...

They're not racing rims, a lot of cars come with pretty nice wheels standard.

Only prototypes are covered like that, its so you can't get a good idea of the lines and things.

I think it looks like an Mazda 6. The front fenders are in line with the front of their newer crossover vehicles it looks like to me. It might be a 3 but it looks too big so I figure its a 6.
