I drove by this this morning a few minutes after it happened and saw exactly what is in the picture (minus the yellow tape).

I actually said out loud, "I hope no one was inside."

Too bad.

A few weeks ago they painted the whole building/parking structure, but the accident scene remains. I guess the lawsuit is still pending.

All that is left is the painting.

It is hard to see if there are any new safety features.

No picture, but they finished the painting last week.

I used to work in a hospital that had a 7 or 8 story parking structure. I don't have a huge fear of heights, but I got pretty tepid when pulling into a parking stall.

You can see the hanging barrier on the third parking level. It is being held only by now-exposed rebar (hidden by the power line).
