You actually think a lock smith breaks out a file and cuts a key with a file? Damn... you are dumb.
for my garage door that's exactly what one did....took him all of 10mins.
Automobile locks are simple the basic fact because they aren't really designed to secure a vehicle from anything but obvious tampering. Same with alarms....if someone wants the car bad enough there is no real prevention. There are also things like master key sets available...a lock may be capable of 5 cylinders of 5 different pins, but in reality they make only certain combos and alternate them through the VIN's.
Many times too the wrong key can open the wrong lock if it's only off by 1-2 steps on a cylinder.
