Where's the next 3000GT???

At least that new Eclipse doesn't have those ridiculous gills on the current model...

Yeesh...looks like a Nissan 350Z mated with an Audi TT and their offspring was melted in a fire.

I'd say that picture resembles the final product only insomuch as the final, and that picture, both represent a car with 4 wheels. rbloedow at least posted some real pics :)

LOL at encryptic.

BTW, as mentioned elsewhere, only girls buy eclipses!

Agreed. The current one looks like a damn Pontiac with ribbing.

and pretty damn expensive too.

You could get a Z (base model however) for the price of a fully loaded convertible Eclipse. I know I'm comparing convertible to Z, but still.

The Tiburon is better at the game (and cheaper too) than the Eclipse.

Looks like it's based on the new Galant platform with 3.8L V6 that should have 260-280hp (taken from popular mechanics)

If that's the case, it's gonna get even larger and fatter and crappier :(

But the V6 will finally be available with a manual. Not trying to defend it, just saying. I don't plan on switching from my Honda anytime soon:)

You can get a V6 manual combo with the current Eclipse

Has it always been that way? I could have sworn that when the current body style came out it auto only with a 6?
