Car Music? Need suggestions

Suggestions for music when in the car? I like almost anything except hard rap or whatever and some hard rock. Everything else is pretty much cool to me. Thx!

I prefer progressive house/trance, especially in the car. Check out Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Paul Oakenfold, DJ Tiesto and others of the like. Do a search to find more.

Modest Mouse is awesome car music, it coincides with the very feeling of travel itself.

Simple Plan (catchy tunes).
Blink 182 (pop, but still good).
Sugarcult (catchy sh|t man).
Riddlin Kids (eh.. they are ok.. not as good as the others).
midtown (they are so freakin good)
Zebrahead (they are good. swingish/rockish/rappish).
unwritten law (need i say more?)
new found glory (damn singer makes every song sound the same, but they are good high energy sounds).

Any band from drive thru records seems good to me... (except for something corporate... I don't like them for some unexplicable reason) I can't think of anymore right now.

hehe.. how about Britney Spears.. haha.. you can sing along and show how much of a die hard fan you are. haha... (and don't forget to sing out loud).

Define "car" music.

Cruising music is generally more relaxed and calm, doesn't get you pumped up. Bass beats are welcome. The Eagles tend to work.

Casual driving music is more "fun" beats that keep you a little bit up but not a whole lot.

Aggressive driving music (my style) gets you pumped up and doesn't let you down, hard rock and metal are pretty much the only music that applies here. Some dance music fits.

If you're looking for the last catagory I can send you some track listings of some mixed CDs that I made for driving, they work great when you can barely stay awake.

I was just watching some of my Scrubs AVIs and there was segment where they were playing this song:

"Good Time" by Leroy.

It has kind of a cool retro-rock Lenny Kravitz/Beck-ish sound to it that would seem perfect for riding around on a sunny day. It'll be on the Scrubs soundtrack that's coming out any day now. Naturally it's also on Kazaa.
