Car Indicator Problem

I've noticed recently that all 3 indicators on the right side of my car blink irregularly, the problem seems to be intermittent... For example, sometimes when i indicate right, the indicators dont blink at all, or blink for a really short time like a camera flash. I'm thinking its the relay but thats just a guess. Anyone got ideas?

I've got a phone video of what im talking about which would be the best way to describe it.. But not quite sure where to host it..

Video

Its really bad quality, but you can see what i mean.

how old's the car? My first guess would be the switch - probably a loose connection somewhere at the turn signal stalk on the steering wheel.

probably the switch in the steering column. I had a taurus that I had to clean the contacts on.

If they just blink fast, that usually means one of your light bulbs is burned out.

WTF!? You found one thread and it's a common problem? Were only two cars sold?

With most cars, quite often issues come up with cars that are common for specific year, or make, or model....Its always good to check and see if others experienced it first, you'd be surprised.

Now, If you have a better suggestion you're more than welcome to contribute instead of biting my head off.

They don't just blink fast, they blink irregularly, like out of time and all different durations..

I just put a video up, link in the first post.

Convert it to a school bus. ;)

EDIT: Perhaps since you're using the four way flasher in that video could that flasher have discrete bimetal strips in DPDT fashion? One could be erratic.

Oh i see! Sorry haha.

What would be a fix then if one of the strips is erratic, where are they? you've completely lost me here.

Nope, GM. The Corsa is sort of like the Metro overseas. It's branded as a Chevy in Latin America, a Vauxhall in the UK, and an Opel in the EU.

LOL.

What he's saying is that you need to replace your blinker module. It will be a metal can, probably with the cabin fuses. Turn your blinkers on, you should be able to hear it click if you can't otherwise identify it.

It will be a few dollars for a new one at any auto parts store.

If that isn't it, it's a circuit issue(switch, wiring, bulb).

Most likely it's your flasher/emergeny flasher relay. Typically located under your steering column.
I just replaced mine for making a constant clicking sound.
